Veils & Head Pieces by VeilsbyJules!
This Wedding Wednesday I thought it would be nice to share my newest preferred vendor with you. I would love to introduce Jules Smerecky of Veils By Jules sharing some great tips and information on selecting your veil or head piece.
SMC: How long has it been since you have been providing Brides with veils and head pieces?
VBJ: I have been designing veils and headpieces for over 10years. I have only had my website up for about a year.
SMC: What advice would you give a Bride selecting a veil or head piece?
VBJ: Advice I would give to a bride in selecting her veil or head piece. Don't over power the dress with the veil. If you have a very detailed dress you want something very simple for your veil. If your dress is less detailed you would want a detailed veil. Remember the veil is to compliment the dress.
SMC: What options do you provide for veil/ head pieces?
VBJ: Options I provide are endless. Whatever the bride wants. I can do veils with trim w/o trim. Rhinestones, pearls I like to work with feathers and flowers. Each bride that comes to me always emails me a picture of their dress.
SMC: Special Moments Caribbean offers destination weddings in St. Lucia and it can get pretty hot! What advice do you have for Brides considering St. Lucia or other sunny destinations for their choice of veil/ head piece?
VBJ: My advice for one having a wedding in a hot destination would be to select something very simple maybe, a feather or flower piece and my favorite would be a birdcage veil or even a hatveil.
SMC: Do you designing custom headpieces?
VBJ: Yes I do! All my veils are designed by me only.
SMC: How long on average does it take to have a custom head piece made?
VBJ: The time it take to design a veil or HP. Depends on the detail. Anywhere from a week to a couple of weeks. Also, depends on how many orders I have. Fall and winter for some reason is my busy time.
SMC: What kinds of lace and beads do you use in your work?
VBJ: Materials I use pearls, rhinestones, swarovski gems, feathers, starfish, lots of different trims any and all different kind. I have a very wide trim for Mantilla veils.
SMC: Are there any other services which you provide?
VBJ: I also design flower girl headpieces, hairpins, bridal combs and tiaras.
SMC: How can clients contact you?
VBJ: Brides can contact me from my website http://veilsbyjules.com or Like me on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/veilsbyjulescom/137206276343702 or Follow me on Twitter at veilsbyjules. Special Moments Caribbean would like to thank Jules for sharing her tips with us!
